The 1st XV managed to scrape a victory together against Newick 1st XV on Saturday even though they had over ten regular squad members unvailable. The scoreline ended 13-0 to the Saints with tries from Shannon Millard and Paul Smith and a penalty from Shane Kenny.

The Saint Francis 2nd XV were unfortunately beaten 52-10 in their Sussex Cup match against Bognor Regis 3rd XV. With the dire unavailability of players this weekend, the Saints can hold their heads high for competing so valiantly against a team a league above themselves.

Due to the terrible weather so far this season we are now three games behind schedule due to cancellations. This means that the fixture list for the second half of the season has become congested and we no longer have any free weekends! So if you have booked off any holiday before May, please let Adie and Steve know asap so that they can plan the teams in advance...
